The grand finale of The Gallery Players 40th Anniversary season is a celebration of new work! For the tenth consecutive year, the Black Box New Play Festival brings its audience the World Premiere Productions of plays by Tri-State area playwrights. Review of Box 1 - Bury Him by Joe Lauinger: “…a mash-up of Noel Coward, Philip Barry, and Alan Ball….It’s a comedy of manners and a farce in a way, but it’s incredibly contemporary….It also has some emotional moments that are totally real and believable….this is a very—there really is no other phrase—gosh-darned enjoyable show, thanks (in no small part) to the cast and Alexa Polmer’s simultaneously believable and cartoonish direction.”
