Sunday, February 17, 4-6PM and Monday, February 18, 7-9PM
The Gallery Players in Park Slope is holding auditions for its upcoming AEA showcase production (approval pending) of STEEL MAGNOLIAS by Robert Harling (April 13 – 28, 2019). Director, Avital Asuleen. Co-Producers: Dominic Cuskern and Marty Goldin.
STEEL MAGNOLIAS examines the relationships between a tight-knit group of southern ladies in a small-town beauty parlor, who witness the milestones in each other’s lives. The play is alternately hilarious and touching – and, in the end, deeply revealing of the strength and purposefulness which underlies the antic banter of its characters.
Performances run April 13th – 28th (Thursday – Saturday nights, and Saturday and Sunday matinees). Rehearsals start Sunday, March 10th and take place evenings and weekends. All auditions, rehearsals, and performances will take place at the Gallery Players, 199 14th Street, Brooklyn. Equity/Non-Equity. No pay. We encourage all ethnicities and races to attend.
