Please note Gallery Players is suspending public programming in response to the public health concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The health, safety, and well-being of our artists, volunteers, and audiences has been and continues to be our top priority. In support of citywide efforts to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the remainder of our 2019-2020 season, including Pipeline, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Romeo and Juliet.
We are tremendously disappointed that we couldn’t produce these shows and are working with the licensing agencies to get them back next season. We are still planning our 54th season, and while we don’t know what those dates will be yet, know that when the theater is safe to open, we will be back!
For those who have already purchased tickets, there are several options:
- Transfer them for the same or another production next season (dates to be determined)
- Donate your tickets and receive a tax deduction for the total ticket value
- Receive a full refund
For our season subscribers, we are working to find a way to honor your subscriptions, and can offer credit to be applied to your subscription renewal next season, should you wish.

While we currently cannot gather together in person, we are experimenting with and exploring online programming and hope to present several online offerings in the near future. And we are using this time away to identify what we can do with our physical space to improve the quality and comfort of our performers and patrons. Looking toward the future, we can start planning now to make our theater even better than it was before.
If you are able and should you wish to make a donation to support us during this time, know that your contribution helps us continue to realize our mission of producing exceptional artistic projects, and enriching our artistic community. During these unprecedented times, we especially appreciate your generosity and decision to give to Gallery Players.
We look forward to seeing you at our theater soon, and will provide updates as we have them.
Please take good care of yourself and your loved ones.
